Bermuda
Being from a land locked country of Czech Republic and loving open spaces and nature, cruising really was not on my bucket list. When Mike asked to go on a cruise for his big birthday I agreed and immediately came up with a list of reasons why I would dislike it.
I was proven wrong. So much fun! On the ship and in Bermuda.
Leaving from Baltimore and staying in Bermuda for a few days, so that we could explore it on scooters made the trip super easy and enjoyable. We love scooters. Mike drives and I navigate from the back, but if you don’t have experience with motorcycles and with driving on the left side of the road be careful with scooters in Bermuda. We had done long trips on a scooter in Spain and spend two weeks driving on the left side in New Zealand, so it was a piece of cake 🙂
I could write a novel with reasons why you should go but here are just a few – snorkeling at Tobacco Bay, beach hopping, best Halloween party ever – on the ship, delicious food and easy life on board, endless entertainment. The ship tour was super interesting – where does the food come from and where does all the trash go?…and of course some beautiful sunrises and sunsets to photograph 🙂
